Job Title: SharePoint Developer

Smarthost are interested in adding an experienced SharePoint Developer position to support our customer SharePoint support needs. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 4 years experience of web application development experience including developing custom database driven web parts and timer jobs for SharePoint on premise and cloud-based solution.

Duties and Responsibilities
Technical

• Program, write code in C# support and familiar with SharePoint web parts development in VS 2017
• Programing and writing code and script to support application development language such as ColdFusion.
• Convert existing ColdFusion application to C# user controls with client-side server -side code
• Assist application developers to migrating existing ColdFusion application into SharePoint environment using existing methodology used in conversion of several other application
• Assessing current applications and developing a strategy to migrate to SharePoint environment
• Assist in developing >NET solution that could be migrated to cloud solution running on the web server and remote databases
• Provide inline documentation and high level as-built documentation to convert application
• Provide user support and testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance for the converted applications
• ensuring that source code dose not introduce any security vulnerability by resolving any issues found via Fortify SCA scans
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents that may arise from DHCP, DNS, and Other Networking protocol
• Ensure that source code is maintained in the Team foundation Server.
• Provide daily status that summarizes and outline activity work accomplished along with any outstanding issues that may hinder progress of the project.
• Document application worked on to include changes made and provide application roadmap.

• Minimum Required Skills /Knowledge
  • Developing of C# .NET Database driven we parts application running as user controls (ascx, ascx.cs
  • Visual Studio 2017 or newer
  • ColdFusion (1Yr), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, XML
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle (TOAD) Databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • .Net Framework
  • C# Programming Language
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, related field of study (preferred but not required), or equivalent work experience
• Required Qualification/Certification
  • US Citizen
  • Cybersecurity qualification in of the following:
    • ( CompTIA security +, CISSP, CASP, ENSA, or Requirement according to DoDD 8140.01)
  • Certificate of completion of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or newer
  • Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
• Experience
  • 4 years experience of web application development experience including developing custom database driven web parts and timer jobs for SharePoint on premise and cloud-based solution.
• Other Skills & Abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be prepared to travel to client customer site when required

Work Schedule. ~ 35-40 hours per week.  The daily normal schedule shall be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm
