osition to support our customer network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 4 years experience working as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
Duties and Responsibilities
Experience Skills and Qualifications
- Developing security policies and procedures based on industry standards, government regulations, and best practices.
- Implementing security measures such as firewalls, encryption technology, and data backups to protect against unauthorized access to data.
- Monitoring security systems to ensure that they are functioning properly.
- Managing risk by assessing vulnerability of systems to cyber-attacks or other security breaches.
- Developing security awareness training programs for employees on topics such as social engineering, phishing scams, malware infections, and data loss prevention methods.
- Working with external security auditors to make sure that security measures are adequate.
- Responding to security incidents such as data breaches or cyber-attacks by identifying their cause and taking corrective action to prevent them from happening again in the future.
- Performing security assessments on hardware and software applications to identify any vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers or malicious insiders.
- Creating and maintaining a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to ensure that business operations can be restored after a disaster such as a fire or flood.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, related field of study (preferred but not required), or equivalent work experience
- Three years’ experience working as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
- Candidate performing Cybersecurity/Information Assurance tasks shall have a current Security +/Security + ce certification and a minimum of three years’ experience working as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
- Microsoft (OS) Experience
- Windows 7, 8, 10, OS Experience and Windows 2008 Server or newer
- Ubuntu, and others is a plus
- Microsoft Office/troubleshooting (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, InfoPath, etc.)
- Managing Exchange Server (Outlook (RPC), Web Access, SMTP, and POP3), Hosted
- Server Installation troubleshooting
- Server / Network / TCP IP / Storage / Security / Web Administration
- Managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server Environment.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, printing, scanning, and peripheral devices.
- TCP/IP Administration for support on Windows Server
- Installation and Software Maintenance
- Recommending, scheduling, and performing network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Experience with Sophos, Cisco and Citrix technologies remote connect tools

Work Schedule. 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday – Friday. Normal duty hours are 8 hours per day
